I am not a morning person. I don't feel twenty yet. I can daydream for as long as I want in Italy. I live for good food, humour and iced tea. Going to sleep at 5.30am could be my cup of tea. So is dancing for four hours endlessly. Oh yeah and discovering a rainbow after a mild shower is happiness.

I ponder aloud now.
All these little things make me think too much. What if ten years ago, things didn’t happen the way they erupted? Would I still be someplace else? Would I be different you say? I don’t know. I’d have missed out on lots of things, details and the rest. Would that two month stint have happened? Would I have grown to love being here? Would they still be content with each other? Too many questions. Then I know that they weren’t little things. They were huge. Too huge to forget but over time, forgiven.

This photograph was taken in December 2011 when Nabeela came down for a two week vacation. I titled this picture ‘Ruckus’ because that is exactly what she came and did. Created a ruckus. A happy one, of course. My friends didn’t know that I was taking the photograph when this was happening. Of course, Nabeela can’t be seen but her butt can be. We’ve been friends for three years and counting and we have had our fair share of fights, tears, celebrations and fabulously dirty jokes.
In love with them for all the wrong reasons.
